How many devices can I connect?
With a paid subscription (Gathering or Pro), you can connect unlimited BlueStacks instances. The only limit is your Mac's hardware capabilities (CPU, RAM).
Pro tier exclusive: Automatic BlueStacks relaunch and close functionality helps manage resources by automatically launching instances when tasks are scheduled and closing them when idle.
Learn about running multiple instances →Can I install OriginsBot on multiple Macs?
No. OriginsBot can only be installed and activated on one Mac at a time. Your subscription is tied to a single machine.
Important: If you need to transfer OriginsBot to a different Mac, please contact support to deactivate your current installation first.
Can I use the same account on my phone while using OriginsBot?
No. Camel Games (Age of Origins developers) only allow one device per account at a time. If you log in on your phone while OriginsBot is running on that account, the BlueStacks session will be disconnected.
Important: Do not attempt to use an account on multiple devices simultaneously, as this may trigger game security measures.
Why can't OriginsBot find my BlueStacks instance?
Common causes and solutions:
- • ADB not enabled: Enable Android Debug Bridge in BlueStacks Settings → Advanced
- • BlueStacks not fully booted: Wait 30+ seconds after starting BlueStacks
- • Firewall blocking: Check macOS firewall settings
- • Need restart: Restart both BlueStacks and OriginsBot
My device shows as offline. What should I do?
Try these steps in order:
- Make sure BlueStacks is running and Age of Origins is open
- Click the "Reconnect" button in OriginsBot's Device Manager
- If reconnection fails, restart BlueStacks
- As a last resort, remove and re-add the device
BlueStacks Issues
What BlueStacks version should I use?
Use BlueStacks Air for macOS (the latest version available). OriginsBot is designed and tested specifically for macOS. Download it from BlueStacks.com/mac.html
BlueStacks is running slowly. How can I improve performance?
Try these optimizations:
- • Lower frame rate to 15-20 FPS in BlueStacks Performance settings
- • Reduce CPU cores and RAM allocation if running multiple instances
- • Close other applications to free up system resources
- • Clear BlueStacks cache (Settings → Advanced)
- • Ensure your Mac has adequate cooling/ventilation
What are the recommended BlueStacks settings?
Display Settings:
- • Portrait mode: 540 × 960
- • DPI: 240
Performance Settings:
- • CPU: Medium (2 cores)
- • RAM: Standard (2GB)
- • Frame Rate: 20 FPS
Advanced Settings:
- • Android Debug Bridge: Enabled (Critical!)
Can I run multiple BlueStacks instances?
Yes! Use BlueStacks Multi-Instance Manager to create multiple instances. Each instance can run a different Age of Origins account. Keep in mind that each instance uses CPU and RAM, so make sure your Mac has sufficient resources.
Performance
How many instances can I run simultaneously?
It depends on your Mac's specifications:
- • 8GB RAM, 4 cores: 2-3 instances
- • 16GB RAM, 8 cores: 4-6 instances
- • 32GB+ RAM, 10+ cores: 8+ instances
Pro tip: Lower the per-instance resource allocation when running many instances.
Will OriginsBot slow down my Mac?
OriginsBot itself uses minimal resources. However, BlueStacks instances can be resource-intensive. Using Mission Control to run instances on a separate desktop space helps keep your main workspace responsive. Pro tier includes auto-management features that close idle instances to save resources.
What is Mission Control and why should I use it?
Mission Control is macOS's virtual desktop manager. By creating a dedicated desktop for OriginsBot and BlueStacks:
- • Automation runs in the background without visual interruption
- • You can use your Mac normally on other desktops
- • Easy to check on automation by switching desktops
- • Better organization and workflow

What tasks can OriginsBot automate?

Pro tier exclusive:

Does OriginsBot work 24/7?
Yes! As long as your Mac is on and awake, OriginsBot will continue running your automation tasks 24/7. Make sure to configure your Mac's energy settings to prevent sleep, or use a utility to keep it awake.
Is my account safe? Will I get banned?
OriginsBot uses the official Android API through BlueStacks and doesn't modify game files or inject code. It operates like a human player would, just faster and more consistently.
However, use of any automation tool is at your own risk. While we've designed OriginsBot to be safe, we cannot guarantee that the game developers won't take action against automation users in the future.
What's the difference between Gathering and Pro tiers?

The bot can monitor your peace shield timer and take appropriate actions to maintain protection for your city, helping you avoid unexpected attacks during offline periods.
